Who We Are

Founded in 1983, we are a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and enjoying cycling in Regina Saskatchewan and beyond. We welcome all levels of riders and offer a season packed with group rides including Wednesday night recreational rides around Regina, weekend rides that explore areas beyond the city, fast and fun fitness rides, themed rides, bicycle touring trips, and long weekend camping trips. You will also see a variety of  bikes on our group rides such as touring bikes, road, mountain, hybrid, gravel, and ebikes. We always encourage safe group cycling practices by following club policies and guidelines.

!TRY-IT rides for non-members!
Have you been curious about what it is like to attend a ride with the Wascana Freewheelers Cycling Club? Well now you can come out and TRY-IT before getting a Saskatchewan Cycling Association and Wascana Freewheelers Cycling Club membership.
On July 8, you can come out and try one of the Club’s Wednesday night rides. These rides start at 7:00 p.m. from the Legislative Building and are usually around 15km an last 2 hours, finishing again at the Legislative Building. Note: sign-up is required before attending a ride.
Saturday TRI-IT rides

-Saturday July 11, 2026- Ride to the Cabana 9am-12pm. Starts at the Turvey Centre 9am.
-Saturday July 18, 2026- World Cup Ride 10am-12pm. Starts at the (TBA) 10am.
-Saturday August 22, 2026- Community and Coffee 9:30am-11:30am. Starts at the new YWCA facility 9:30am.

Note: sign-up is required before attending a ride.

All riders are required to wear a helmet.
